Hi all,

I started DXing on SSB in 1987, using only small President Grant, 80 channels, AM-FM-SSB Mode.

The antenna was only a 1/4 vertical mobile antenna, DV27S, mounted inside the room !

I still remember the 1st contact, I managed to log - it was a station from Italy - Sicily Island.

After some experience and changes of several transceivers, I decided to set up 5/8 vertical antenna on the roof AND bought my 1st amplifier, a ZETAGI BV 131. It did not take long time and lots of contacts inside and outside of Europe were possible.

Caused on a change of home qth, it was only possible to set up again 1/4 vertical mobile antenna, now the DV27L !
In common with another amplifier, KLV 400, I managed to work after some years finally more than 230 DXCCs !

The most exciting contacts with this simple antenna-system were 17WW07 - Hawaiian Island & 250LD101 - South-Cook Island in example...

Time has come to make another change on my equipment and I decided to buy my 1st yagi-antenna and gone portable once a week with the Alinco DX-70, Zetagi-B550 & the 3 element yagi on a 4 meter telescope mast !

Wow, lots of booming signals ! In example, I got +20db in Alaska, when I spoke on good old friend Ernie, 33SD446.
As I have already more than 280 DXCCs and  700 different IOTAs confirmed by qsl, I do most of the time only the "SWL-job" !

Only when there are new DXCCs and IOTAs for me on the air, I give a call to enter the logs...
 
Also, when there are good openings into directions of good cluster.dk friends, I really appreciate some chats on the air with them.

So you know lots of my DX_history until now and maybe we can meet each other in the future on the air aswell.
